As though push of innovative features are endless to Google Chrome, the company has also announced automatic offline syncing ability for Google Drive on Chrome browser. Google debuted its cloud service, Google Drive, in April 2012 to augment the cloud computing adoption by enterprise.

With the new feature, users of its cloud storage service, Google Drive can now sync files while in offline mode on Chrome browser without the fear of internet connection disruption.

The automatic offline synchronization for Google Drive can be enabled by setting up offline access with Chrome Web App already installed.

Google, however, warned on the risk on enabling automatic offline sync on shared or public computers. Also note that the new feature will be rolling out in a couple of days, so may not have been made available for everyone yet. To check if it has been enabled for your account, simply click on the tab "More" and select offline.
